Licensed Clinician or Master Level Clinician
Treat a wide variety of substance use disorders and other co-occurring mental health disorders that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population. Provide patients with addiction and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, trauma-informed care, coordination of medication management, integrated holistic therapies, and intensive outpatient programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Form excellent provider-patient alliances and coordinate care with internal and external providers
- Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
- Provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods
- Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment to address the needs of harm reduction and relapse prevention.
- Can provide CBT-oriented counseling and psychotherapy as part of appointments.
- May represent the practice in community presentations and behavioral health teams

Medical Biller and Coder or Billing Specialist
Organizes patient medical costs and sends invoices to collect payment from patients and their insurers. Their duties include calling patients to discuss payment and develop reasonable payment plans, entering patient data into administrative systems, and recording information about outstanding claims. Preference for candidates with Therapy Notes EHR but not a requirement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform medical coding and posting charges
- Perform completion of claims to payers
- Conduct duties in a professional and timely fashion
- Submit billing data to the appropriate insurance providers
- Process claims
- Resolve denial issues
- Achieve maximum reimbursement for services provided
- Monthly Reports
- Collaborate Utilization reviews
- Do Medi-Cal reviews & Payer Correspondence
- Conduct audits
